New Year – New Term

Welcome back everyone into our new 2017 term at Fun Lodge.
As always we have a lot planned for this term and again will be updating the website regularly to inform you of the activities we are involved in at our setting. Firstly please have a look at our new term newsletter which you can access by clicking the link below.
Fun Lodge newsletter January 2017
Again this term we will be using our notice board at the enterance to our setting to inform those of you who use our service as well as visitors to the setting the weeks activities we have on offer. This notice board has been a great way of communicating between the staff and the children of the setting as well as with the parents/carers, the church community and other users.
On the 10th of December, we took a group of 84 children to see Aladdin at the Clyde Auditorium. This was a fantastic outing enjoyed by all who attended. A special thank you goes out to all of our parent helpers who volunteered on the night.
On the night we wore festive tops and raised £344 for Cash for Kids charity.
The first holidays occur in February. A letter has been sent out to all service users to gauge interest, the closing date for this is Monday 16th of January.
Fun Lodge are again offering during the spring holidays a holiday club service. To accommodate all our different schools holiday dates we propose to offer a holiday club during the weeks from Monday 3rd of April until Tuesday 18th of April (Inclusive). Again we can only open if it is viable for us to do so. We ask if you are interested in our holiday club then please keep an eye out for the booking form and respond promptly.
Our AGM has been arranged for 6.30pm on Wednesday 8th February 2017 at Fun Lodge premises (Merrylea Parish Church). Everybody is welcome and we hope for a good turnout.
